Drafter

<p><strong>Position Summary</strong>:</p>

<p>Provides CAD and other technical document management support to the Engineering, Operations, and Marketing departments.</p>

<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<p>General</p>

<p>Prepares drawing or layouts working from engineering specifications or detail drawings.</p>

<p>Provide CAD, computer graphics, and other drafting techniques to perform scaling, dimensioning, or line locating according to standard industry procedures.</p>

<p>Combines various details from sketches, drawings, or blueprints.</p>

<p>Provides drawing services to Marketing and Operations departments, including onsite drafting and engineering support</p>

<p>Maintain current knowledge of new computer hardware and software</p>

<p>Maintain Engineering and Technical Support drafting and computer equipment</p>

<p>Maintains drawing files created, drawing standards, and procedures</p>

<p>Knowledge of drawing database maintenance and programming support</p>

<p>Participant in field projects (overseas travel may be required)</p>

<p>Correlate with field personnel to maintain updated drawings for all rigs</p>

<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>

<p>0-2 years of experience in oilfield industry preferred<br />
Proficient knowledge of 2D/3D CAD, Word, Excel, and Access<br />
Proficient in DraftSight &amp; SolidWorks PDM A</p>

<p><strong>Education and Training:</strong></p>

<p>High School Diploma or equivalent<br />
An Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in CAD Drafting Technology required. Students completing their degree will be accepted with grades higher than 3.0</p>

<p><strong>Personal Attributes:</strong></p>

<p>Proficiency in English a must.<br />
