Applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to support and/or install software applications/operating systems. Work is overseen by a leader to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Resolves routine questions or problems, referring only complex issues to a higher level. All work performed is thoroughly reviewed for application of sound professional judgment. <br><br>Roles & Responsibilities <br><ul><li> Automation and Manual test execution. </li><li> Automation testing (development of testing code from scratch) using Visual Studio's Coded UI module, Selenium or Telerik API testing for both web and windows applications. </li><li> Must have knowledge of manual test strategies and Automation Frameworks and Implementation of Frameworks </li><li> Maintain existing test scripts and test cases and develop new ones based on new requirements. </li><li> Perform regression and defect testing activity in manual and automation mode. </li><li> Defect logging. </li><li> Quality Assurance regression testing, ticket testing of bug fixes with collateral damage validation, interface and integration testing, environmental testing on multiple platforms. </li><li> Status reporting to test lead. </li><li> Develops test scripts and plans according to specifications from higher level staff. </li><li> Reports, tracks, and verifies fixes for detected problems with software. </li><li> Will work with technical staff to isolate and reproduce problems with software. </li><li> Assist in review of user manuals. </li><li> Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br>Experience & Education <br><ul><li> Minimum 1 - 2+ years related experience. </li><li> Must have degree or diploma. </li></ul><br> Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: <br><ul><li> Demonstrate proficiency in data structures, algorithms and programming including the use of arrays, lists, dictionaries, basic sorting, searching and data structure traversal and retrieval algorithms. if applicable, demonstrate basic understanding of compilers, linker and interpreters and use of local coding standards. </li><li> Experience with at least one software framework in a professional capacity. </li><li> Demonstrates a basic understanding of design patterns. </li><li> Demonstrate working knowledge of version control features like add, check in, check out, revert, changelog/history, update/sync. able to diff between versions to determine changes between versions and debug. </li><li> Demonstrate effective use of ide to write, compile, run, and debug the code. </li><li> Demonstrate basic understanding of develops build pipelines or similar technology. </li><li> Demonstrate effective use of task management software for tracking work and collaboration with the team. </li><li> Knows basic database concepts, normalization, acid, transactions and can write simple selects. </li><li> Has written unit tests and comes up with unit test cases for the code that is being written. </li><li> Has written automation tests and comes up with automation test cases. </li><li> Demonstrate proficiency in problem solving, analytical and debugging skills. </li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li> Excellent problem-solving skills. </li><li> Well organized with the ability to expedite multiple simultaneous projects. </li></ul>
