The HR Leader Enterprise Functions APAC is responsible for the creation and deployment of the portfolio of HR work within the Asia Pacific region for the J&J Technology and General Counsel functions (Government Affairs, Legal, Healthcare Compliance and Privacy). The HR Leader Enterprise Functions APAC will actively support their business partners and drive important people/talent actions for their respective business. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring business intimacy: Create and deploy the HR agenda for the business within a geography, aligned with HR, business, and shared services strategies and ensure integration of HR priorities into business plans Evaluate appropriate business, financial, or other drivers across groups to inform HR solutions (e.g., assess effectiveness, identify capability gaps) Develop trusted partnership/coaching relationship with leaders/teams that enhances their impact Driving talent agenda and building organizational capability: Identify talent needs of the business via analytics, business acumen, and effective analysis Develop/deploy talent strategies in partnership with business leadership to grow and advance effective, diverse talent pools and drive meaningful talent planning in critical areas and across all levels to strengthen talent pipelines Partner with global, regional, and country/cluster HR leaders to shape culture, employee engagement, talent agendas, and change initiatives as appropriate Lead the APAC Talent Council strategies for J&J Technology and General Counsel functions and partner with Global Talent Councils to develop healthy pipelines and facilitate talent movement Partner with the business to drive transformation efforts, org design, and capability building efforts Promoting collaboration: Partner x-group, including across all parts of the HR model, to ensure integrated solutions and seamless experiences for both HR and the business Collaborate x-sector/function on initiatives/goals that apply across the region Proactively identify opportunities to partner x-group and or x-sector to ensure integration of efforts Qualifications Qualifications: This position will be located in Singapore and require 10% travel. Years of experience: 8-10 years professional experience required; minimum of 5 years of HR or HR related experience preferred Experience supporting multiple business functions and working in various industries, preferably within large, complex organizations is preferred. Experience of driving strategic change to meet changing business needs, and exploring new business models is required Experience to break down and understand business issues, gain supportive insights through data and analytics to influence senior business leaders via strategic recommendations Must have relationship management, coaching and collaboration skills required. Influence, shaping solutions, negotiation and partnership skills are required. Must embody strong interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills required. Ability to understand and integrate internal and external business drivers and financial metrics to drive talent outcomes for the business is required. Demonstrate an outside-in perspective, ability to identify external talent trends and build specific long term talent initiatives in relation to evolving talent landscape Experience with innovative change efforts, including developing and implementing detailed change management plans is required. Experience managing, planning and implementing projects and business support initiatives is required. Strong MS office and related talent management technology tools skills are required.
