<p>As a Talent Acquisition Assistant,&nbsp;you will work as part of the wider team to help to drive a highly efficient, best practice recruitment and onboarding process.&nbsp;In this role, you will be the onboarding specialist for Head Office appointments, delivering high standards of recruitment support to key stakeholders and hiring managers across our Central Services departments, and providing an exceptional candidate experience for all new starters joining Head Office central team.</p>

<p><strong>Main Areas of Responsibility</strong></p>
<p>Reporting to the Head of Talent, you will support the recruitment of Head Office staff and, as an onboarding specialist, carry out the pre-employment screening for all new starters. Your responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Administration of the recruitment and onboarding process for Head Office appointments; interview scheduling, briefing and preparing hiring managers, managing offer approval process, offer letter e-signing, reference requests, new starter forms, pre-employment checks including right to work documentation and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks</li>
<li>Completing new starter set up requirements; inputting employee details on the payroll portal, arranging IT and phone equipment, issuing building security passes etc</li>
<li>Helping to coordinate the use of testing and assessments across various streams of recruitment and job levels</li>
<li>Proactively identifying opportunities for improvements early on and take ownership to work with your hiring managers and the People Services team to deliver results.</li>
<li>Utilising recruitment data to identify behaviours and trends which can help reduce agency spend.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for people who have sound knowledge of screening, pre-employment vetting, background checking and understand what a positive and engaging onboarding process should look like. Applicants must understand the need for confidentiality, possess excellent communication skills and have the aptitude to develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have some recruitment experience gained in an in-house function, RPO or consultancy</li>
<li>Have experience of using ATS/HRIS systems</li>
<li>Have good knowledge and practical use of technology i.e. ATS, CRM, Screening tools, job posting etc</li>
<li>Have the ability to understand and support hiring manager needs and challenge where needed</li>
<li>Think creatively and outside the box</li>
<li>Be results driven and proactive and not compromising on quality</li>
<li>Have the ability to use data to drive decision making and track progress</li>
<li>Be passionate about recruitment and ensuring outstanding candidate experiences</li>
<li>Be resourceful, meticulous, and organised with the ability to multitask</li>
