Senior Architect

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Architect in Civil & Structural discipline at Kolkata office. <br><br>Responsibilities <br><ul><li> Undertake Lead Architect Role of FEED/EPC within an appropriate multi discipline project. </li><li> Keep up to date with latest industry practices, standards and product development. </li></ul><br> Duties <br><ul><li> Lead Projects and assigned group of Architects & Architectural Designers when required. </li><li> Provide technical input into engineering projects resulting in production of quality deliverable products to the Corporate and related National Standards. </li><li> Understand the requirements and drives of the project through client supplied documentation and India Operations management instructions. </li><li> Provide technical support to the design team developing the engineering solution. </li><li> Technically and administratively supervises the Architectural design activities on a small to medium project. </li><li> Generate engineering documents, review drawings, models etc related to Architectural works. </li><li> Guide Discipline designers in a project task force ensuring project procedures, standards, quality and schedule. </li><li> Participate in man-hour and MTO estimating effort during bid stage. </li><li> Coordinate with other disciplines as and when required. </li><li> Work requires comprehensive knowledge in areas of Architectural expertise and a good understanding of how (discipline) design integrates into and impacts the complete project. </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Graduate in Architecture is essential. However, Postgraduate in Architecture is desirable. </li><li> 7+ years of experience in Architecture field with lead role in project execution. </li><li> Ability to lead small team in a multi discipline task force based engineering environment. </li><li> Should have experience & exposure in FEED & EPC engineering execution in Mining & Metal / Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical /Oil & Gas/ Power sector etc. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
