Our testing and compliance services provide oversight and assurance over critical functions, operations and processes - helping clients to understand where they have potential gaps and exposures. We work with multiple industries including Banking and Capital Markets; Insurance and Asset Wealth Management, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Retail, Health Services, Oil and Gas, and many more.</p><p></p><p><b><b>Essential Experience:</b></b></p><ul><li><p>Demonstrable success as a senior leader and of managing and developing large high performing teams;</p></li><li><p>A track record of success setting up and / or running compliance operations, demonstrating strategic outlook, commercial acumen and business planning;</p></li><li><p>Experience in SOX audit or equivalent significant experience of financial reporting &amp; business process controls testing;</p></li><li><p>Experience of operating at senior management level in an operations environment;</p></li><li><p>ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or international equivalent preferred, and non-chartered accountancy qualifications such as CIA will be considered/accepted </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Role description and responsibilities</b></p><p>Your primary responsibility will be supporting the senior leadership team with the set up and operational delivery of multiple, large scale and complex SOX execution testing programmes, and monitoring compliance against our delivery frameworks. </p><ul><li><p>Providing oversight across large teams, supporting delivery and quality;</p></li><li><p>Ensure that our ISO accredited delivery frameworks are at the heart of all programmes, including delivery plans, metrics, and a reporting framework to accurately articulate performance to clients;</p></li><li><p>Ensuring all programmes meet with contractual obligations and standards, as well as budget and timescales;</p></li><li><p>In conjunction with our Technical Management team assume responsibility for quality, risk, and governance and seek ways to continually improve processes, driving efficiencies and automating processes through the use of technology where possible;</p></li><li><p>Help to position our services and capability across the PwC network, building and holding relationships with Partners;</p></li><li><p>Personally maintain strong professional relationships with key client and internal stakeholders;</p></li><li><p>Drive growth in our team, supporting resourcing, recruitment, and training initiatives;</p></li><li><p>Support the growth ambition of our business through exceptional delivery and bringing best practice.</p></li></ul><br /><p><strong>Not the role for you?</strong><br />Did you know PwC offers flexible career arrangements and contract work? <a href="https://www.pwc.co.uk/careers/flexible-contractor-careers.html" rel="no-follow">Learn more</a>.<br /><br /><strong>The skills we look for</strong><br />In addition to our global framework, the PwC Professional, there are a number of key Operate behaviours you'll be evaluated against during our assessment process.
