We are looking for a highly committed: Plan Senior Analyst based in Zuchwil (Permanent) Overview As a part of the Global Supply planning team, you will support the supply network planning and inventory optimization from supply sources to Primary hubs. You will facilitate the balancing of demand with supply to offer the best product availability with optimal inventory levels. As a planning point of contact for the strategic collaboration with our manufacturing partners, you will drive SNP processes, including Net Requirements handover, supply S&OP, and event management process (STEM). Further responsibilities and duties are This is a critical, global, cross-functional role in driving DePuy Synthes supply planning performance to a higher level. The purpose of this role is to interface between our global planning team and manufacturing plants. The role is also expected to drive improvements in supply network planning maturity, including financial integration, inventory management, scenario planning through excellent communication. This is also a role in advancing business analytical capabilities in order to provide increasingly sophisticated data-based decision support for global supply chain. Serve as planning primary point of contact for strategic collaboration with manufacturing sites Own the global performance metrics for your scope (Backorders, OTIF, Sets deployment, Inventory targets, etc.) Drive distribution center inventory optimization. Drive accuracy of the Net requirements signal through strengthening customer connectivity. Support & contribute to the improvement of supply reliability and customer satisfaction via STEM process (Short Term Exception Management) Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Global S&OP/DP/ NPI/ to integrate site-specific strategies or constraints into the global franchise and regional processes and contribute to end customer service to the highest degree possible. Ensure a formal supply closed loop process to enable reliable supply communication Support the monthly Demand & Supply Reconciliation and S&OP forums Drive Process Improvement initiatives and ensure work instructions creation/maintenance Be accountable for planning parameters Qualifications Education Requirements A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree in Supply Chain, Planning, Statistics or Engineering is preferred APICS certification & Project Management is an asset. Experience At least 4-6 professional work experience in Demand, Supply or Inventory Planning Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Power point Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau experience is preferred Good understanding of ERP systems (JDE, SAP) is preferred Experience with advanced planning systems (OMP) is a plus Interpersonal Skills Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment where priorities change rapidly, and challenging target dates exist Ability to influence colleagues within the organization by using effective communication and presentation skills Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would improve speed of results and efficiency or quality.
