The successsful candidate will provide leadership for the Supplier Quality Engineers who are conducting qualifications and audits of our suppliers globally. The role also provides leadership for third parties that may be leveraged to assist in supplier qualifications and audits. The Supplier Quality Manager role is responsible for collaborating with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Engineering and Product Line to guide our Supplier Quality Engineers, ensuring that we evaluate whether suppliers are qualified to meet Weatherford quality specifications, monitor and audit our suppliers on a periodic basis, and develop our suppliers to better support our customer and our business requirements. <br><br>Duties will include, <br><br><ul><li> Support the development of the Supplier Quality program including process and procedure development, supplier due diligence, audits, scorecards, and supplier development </li><li> Support the implementation of standard procedures for global quality supplier management to drive risk reduction for Weatherford; update the Operational Excellence and Performance System (OEPS) with updated procedures </li><li> Hires and develops capable Supplier Quality Engineers globally to execute the Supplier Quality program, qualify suppliers, monitor and develop suppliers </li><li> Evaluate performance of SQEs to effectively and efficiently perform their role; provide training and feedback </li><li> Identifies third parties to perform Supplier qualifications and audits; evaluates third party and provides feedback </li><li> Provide cross functional communication and training for supplier management procedures and processes and monitor adherence </li><li> Develops positive relationships and collaborates closely with Engineering, Sourcing, Product Lines, and Suppliers to implement an effective program and address issues </li><li> Establishes goals/objectives and performance metrics for the SQEs; measure performance to those objectives </li><li> Regularly reports operational and financial status, quality system health, and process improvement impact to VP Global Quality, Global Strategic Sourcing Manager and business stakeholders. </li><li> Establish criteria to identify critical suppliers, perform required audits, track performance, and take remedial action where needed </li><li> Develop process to understand quality issues resulting from supplier product; ensure supplier is competent to perform an RCA at their site or participate with Weatherford for defects that have escaped their facility </li><li> Drives continuous improvement at supplier locations; provides leadership to Supplier Quality Engineers to drive cost out through outsourcing and process improvement initiatives </li><li> Ensures effective corrective and preventive actions related to Supplier RCAs; monitor progress and closure </li></ul> <br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Engineering </li></ul><ul><li> 8+ years of experience in an industrial environment </li></ul><ul><li> 8+ years of Supplier Quality experience </li></ul><ul><li> 5+ years knowledge in ISO 9001 and API </li></ul><ul><li> Demonstrated global leadership experience in a Quality organization </li></ul>
