<b>Primary Purpose of Job</b><br />
Control all permitted works that are implemented through the Permit to Work (PTW) system in the process area. Ensure work assignments are executed after thorough identification of potential hazards, evaluation of risk and control measures settings.<br />
<br />
<b>Education</b><br />
Completed Secondary School Education (12 years) Safety Courses - NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma.<br />
<br />
<b>Experience &amp; Skills</b><br />
A minimum of 8 years relevant experience within the oil &amp; gas industry, skills and experience relating to Permit to Work, Gas testing, Job Hazard Analysis, etc. &bull; English Level-5 proficiency. &bull; Good experience in Breathing Apparatus, Confined space entry, Authorized Gas Testing, permit to work &amp; JHA Authorization, Safe Plant Maintenance, Chemical and Hazardous material Handling, Basic scaffolding awareness, Electrical Isolation, LOTO procedure and Radiation Protection Awareness &bull; Good knowledge of Refinery process units, product storage Tanks and support utility units. &bull; Good knowledge in Plant Operation Information System such as Laboratory Information System (LIMS), Refinery Information System (RIS) and SAP. &bull; Good negotiation skills. &bull; Ability to communicate well orally and in writing. &bull; Ability to perform risk assessment and review/prepares proposals. &bull; Ability to work effectively with various personnel and in teams and be flexible in work assignments. &bull; Ability for improving bad working habits, employee performance, maintaining improved performance, utilizing effective follow up actions to solve employee or work-related problems.<br />
