SUMMARY OF POSITION Reports directly to a Regional Payroll Lead with Working Team Lead responsibilities i.e. managing team and managing Payroll of Countries Responsible for administering assigned components of payroll processing to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of payments for countries supported. Pay a critical role of acting as a “Liaison” between Payroll Vendor, HR, and Finance teams Leads Process Improvement, Standardization and Automation opportunities Responsible for delivering service excellence to employees, managers and HR professionals. Responsible to actively partner in Service Excellence Framework execution Overall Accountability of Regional payroll processing Lead the Regional Payroll team Be responsible for first level of escalation and conflict resolution Lead Team Engagement w.r.t. Team meetings, update, etc. Ensure the automation initiatives are followed by the Team Drive changes within region for enhanced payroll scope, new capabilities etc. This is in addition to the above role of the Team lead: Performs the day to day payroll processing activities ensuring that payroll calendars are accurate for core countries as assigned Analyze and prioritizes incoming work to ensure data is processed by the cut-off date Accountable for the transactional process work and data entry, ongoing HR process harmonization/improvement, and processing within the region/market Review outputs, audit preliminary results and make corrections by the sign-off date Validation of gross to net process, provide commitment to vendor by the final processing date and approval of final payroll results Closure of current pay cycle and processing of payroll outputs including General Ledger, Treasury funding, pay slip distribution, garnishments and processing of regulatory information Oversee vendor processing of new hires, leavers to ensure all regulatory filings are completed timely for accurate payroll Responsible for all reporting and reconciliations, Payroll tax updates, including the oversight of all year-end activities with vendor Responsible for effective and efficient delivery of Payroll across network – deliver SLA’s (service level agreement’s), KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), metrics/measures Assists the HR Direct Associates as needed during high volumes Mitigating risks related to: SOX audits, data privacy, security, visibility, other related regional concerns Provides level 3 inquiry payroll support to employees, managers and HR. Escalate issues to vendor as needed. Provides maintenance for the CRM enabling tools (case management, knowledge management, portal, telephony and records) Documentation – ensure documentation is up to date for processes, regional documentation is maintained System Testing – provide support for Testing (initial and any ongoing) Stakeholder connects for various payroll updates Accountable for maintain high scores of payrolls KPI of a region Team engagement REQUIRED SKILLS Global University degree preferred 5-7 years of multi-country payroll experience with customer service experience preferred.
