The teams based in Calgary have a history of delivering some of the biggest projects and providing solutions for the Energy industry, as well as a strong foothold in the energy transition supporting the rapidly growing decarbonization and renewables industry.</p>

The position is based in Calgary, Alberta. Our successful candidate will work closely with the local and internationally based P&O teams to support and deliver core HR services while developing themselves further for future opportunities within Wood&
39;s overall P&O function.<br />
<br />
The P&O Coordinator will assist P&O Business Partners and Managers, Line Managers, Centers of Expertise, Shared Services, and Employees . In this role, they will actively participate in a supporting role with tasks associated with the day-to-day lifecycle of employees. This includes, but is not limited to employee relations and short and long-term employee engagement strategies; including retention strategies, succession planning, performance management, and change initiatives. Work will largely be assigned by the P&O Manager(s) and/or P&O Business Partners, with specific direction and periodic review of progress and results, although the successful candidate will be required to work autonomously with the assigned tasks and liaise with the business as required regarding details. Work will be delivered in accordance with functional policy and guidelines.<br />

<li>Support P&O activities as required in support of the employee life cycle</li>
<li>Assist the relevant P&O team with planning and delivery of specific work activities</li>
<li>Review and respond to employee relations and line manager incoming queries in a timely fashion</li>
<li>Support line managers with basic P&O activity and queries</li>
<li>Coordinate events/P&O programs as required</li>
<li>Develop a full understanding and ability to effectively navigate within Wood&
39;s HRIS system(s)</li>
<li>Lead initiatives associated with new hire processes, record and file maintenance, and data entry</li>
<li>Work within defined processes and procedures, escalating as required</li>
<li>Prepare routine employment-related letters and memoranda for managers&
39; review and presentation</li>
<li>Support in the collection of information and data for reporting and presentation purposes</li>
<li>Populate templates and create documents to support internal work processes</li>
<li>Maintain appropriate databases</li>
<li>Create records and update systems</li>
<li>Communicate progress and clarify process steps required to resolve queries</li>
<li>Produce regular scheduled and/or ad-hoc reports and data as requested</li>
<li>Complete all assigned tasks with accuracy using all available resources</li>

39;s degree in Human Resources, business, or related field is preferred</li>
<li>HR Professional Certification, having either obtained and/or are seeking, and previous experience in an HR environment is also preferred</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint is highly desired</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and protection of sensitive business and personal information is required</li>
<li>Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills</li>
<li>Strong commitment to internal and external customer service</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail with focus on quality</li>
<li>Strong reporting capability to execute various reports, spreadsheets and presentations as needed</li>
