<b>Purpose</b>:<br><br> To coordinate, plan, support, facilitate or undertake the Technical Safety / Health & Safety management and assessment activities associated with the the company CCS Project Developments & associated Decommissioning activities covering FEED/Concept Definition, EPIC phases of the project(s) and preparation for SU & Operations<br><br> The Role covers HSE related Company, Industry Best Practices and Regulatory requirements covering onshore and offshore infrastructure development and operation.<br><br> <b>Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:<br></b><ul><li>Review, participation , input, support, facilitate or undertake project H&S / Technical Safety Assessments and Deliverables, including, but not limited to:</li></ul>- HSE Philosophies and Design Basis<br>- Assessment and Compliance with Applicable Regulations and Standards<br>- HAZIDs<br>- HAZOPs<br>- QRA and Consequence Assessment<br>- SIL Assessments<br>- Safety Layouts<br>- F&G systems<br>- MAH & Bowtie Assessments<br>- SECE and Performance Standards<br>- RAM Analysis<br>- Emergency Response (Plans, ETRREA/EERA/ESSA etc) covering on and offshore, onsite and offsite<br>- Preparation of Technical Notes and Assessments<br>- HSE Risk & Compliance Registers<br>- HSE Plan development<br>- Review of Engineering Deliverables<br><ul><li>Coordination and support of the Company / Project Gate Deliverables as per Project Plan</li><li>Development of the information required to support and provide the basis for Regulatory Compliance during FEED/Concept Definition and readiness for FID & EPIC for the H&S/Technical Safety aspects covering:</li></ul>- Technical information to support dialogue with Regulators and Authorities<br>- Additional Technical / safety Studies<br>- HSE, Local Authorities, Emergency Services etc<br>- Safety Cases / Design Notifications<br>- Pipeline Safety Reports / Notifications<br>- Overall H&S Regulatory Compliance<br><ul><li>H&S/Technical Safety advice to internal company departments and technical disciplines</li><li>Assessment, Evaluation and Coordination with External Contractors / ITT Processes</li><li>Coordination with External Consultancy support</li><li>Coordination with EUK, EUK Project, EPUK and the LBA operations team</li><li>Adherence to the Company's Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures and standards. Fully comply with the Code of Ethics and Law 231 principles.</li><li>To fully comply with the HSE Critical roles should your position contain any HSE Critical tasks / duties. Please refer to the UK HSE IMS C1-SYS-01 - HSE Critical Roles - accessible via the company UK Intranet</li></ul><br> <b>Main Interfaces:</b><br><br> INTERNAL:<br><ul><li>Company departments on Health and Safety Management matters.</li><li>EPUK Project Teams: Safety / Technical Safety Functions and Engineering disciplines</li><li>EUK Project Team</li><li>EUK LBA Operations - HSE Team and technical authorities</li></ul>EXTERNAL<br><ul><li>HSE Support Consultants</li><li>Project Contractors (EPIC etc)</li><li>Project Operational Interfaces (3rd party Facility Operators / Emitters)</li><li>Relevant Regulators, Authorities and Agencies</li></ul><b>Qualifications & Experience:</b><br><ul><li>Degree Level Engineering or Science</li><li>10 Years of Process and Technical Safety within Oil And Gas or Process Industries - projects or operations Onshore & Offshore</li><li>Delivery of FEED and EPIC Projects and Safety / Technical Safety requirements from Client / Contractor side (both preferred)</li><li>UK On and Offshore Project Development/ Operations</li><li>CCS Project experience & Technical / Personal CO2 related hazard assessment, safeguards & protection (preferred)</li></ul><b>Required Knowledge, Experience, Technical & Personal Competencies</b><br><ul><li>Technical & Process Safety / Occupational H&S Assessment </li><li>HSE Management Systems - Development and Implementation</li><li>UK Regulations, Standards, Codes and Best Industry Practice</li><li>Hazards & Risk Management - analysis / assessment, development of engineering / procedural controls & protection (Hydrocarbons, H2S, CO2, on and offshore major accident hazards, occupational & workplace H&S hazards).</li><li>Information Assimilation and Report writing</li><li>Communication and relationship building</li></ul><b>Behavioural Competencies</b><br><ul><li>Demonstrate Model of Excellence<ul><li>Action</li><li>Relationship</li><li>Person</li><li>Thought</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work as part of a team and organise own workload to meet deadlines</li></ul><ul><li>Analysis and judgement - Logically break down problems/situations, draw reasonable conclusions based on their analysis, plan and prioritize demands, make timely and balanced decisions</li></ul><ul><li>Quality and effectiveness - Consistently work to a high standard, pay attention to detail and look for ways to improve current working practices and processes</li></ul><ul><li>Personal organization and development - Efficiently use time and work in a well structured way.
