If you share our passion for discovery and want to find out what you could really do, then here is the place to do it.<br><br><b> Job Description: </b><br> <br> The electronic CAD lead will be 70% of his/her time in charge of electronic boards and Multi-Chip Modules (MCM) layouts and 30% managing a team of 3 electronic CAD technicians. To do the first part, he / she uses Cadence CAD software in accordance with the state of the art layout standards defined by the Technology Department. He / She is in charge of finalizing and archiving the definition files of these subassemblies in the internal existing business systems. As a lead, he will be in charge of the layout planning and he will be a key interface with Cadence.<br><br><b> Essential Responsibilities and Duties: </b><br> <ul> <li> Responsible of a team of 3 eCAD</li> <li> In charge of the team planning</li> <li> Conduct reviews with Cadence and internal teams for the proper deployment of new Cadence revisions</li> <li> Review and clean up the electrical diagrams created by the design engineers</li> <li> Create the layout of electronic boards or Multi-Chip Modules (boards withstanding harsh environments) according to the specifications and constraints defined by the electronic industrialization engineer as well as the internal layout standards.</li> <li> Produce boards manufacturing and assembly documentation</li> <li> Archive the database associated with the electronic board or the Multi-Chip Modules</li> <li> Share his/her experience with electronic industrialization and design engineers.</li> </ul> <br> <b> Qualifications and competencies: </b><br> <ul> <li> Bac+5 level preferably in Electronics Engineering or equivalent</li> <li> 5 years minimum of experience in electronic boards layout</li> <li> Very good knowledge of the Cadence CAD tool</li> <li> Understanding of electrical / electronic designs</li> <li> Knowledge of electronic constraints related to layout (decoupling, crosstalk, etc.)</li> <li> Knowledge of manufacturing constraints related to layout (PCB, Assembly ...)</li> <li> Good technical English</li> <li> Fluent French is mandatory</li> </ul> <br> Schlumberger is an equal employment opportunity employer.
