Our team provides support for customer operations to ensure continuity for production. <br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br><br> As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Selecting suppliers through qualification processes, own supplier results, driving improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Audits of own supplier's, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Understanding concepts, methods, procedures and approaches. <br><br>As a <b>Supplier Quality Engineer</b>, you will be responsible for: <br><ul><li> Focal point for supplier quality related to activities for the supplier base supporting the company and manage supplier quality activities with focus on issue resolution (CA / PA), supplier's approval, qualifications, development, process control, and quality assurance consistent with Global Sourcing quality initiatives. </li><li> Technical focal point for supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance of site material and components </li><li> Drive continuous improvement of supplier's quality performance through Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodology </li><li> Monitor and drive for Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) reduction within the business and working with the Sourcing and Quality teams costs associated with defects </li><li> Monitor suppliers' non-conforming performance / trends, identify and drive process improvement, root cause analysis and corrective actions </li><li> Provide technical guidance to suppliers towards assuring product / process compliance with engineering drawings, customer flow down requirements and specifications </li><li> Work closely with Sourcing, Quality, Project and Engineering to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality requirements </li><li> Drive improvements through the internal supplier base and report the metrics out a monthly basis </li><li> Take ownership of the site SQE related procedures ensuring ongoing reviews and amendment are made </li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br> To be successful in this role you will: <br><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Engineering </li><li> Experienced with Engineering - Machining / Fabrication background </li><li> Advanced English (required) - Fluent is a must </li><li> Demonstrated project management skills </li><li> Proven analytical and problem-solving skill set and ability to co-ordinate multiple priorities </li></ul><br><br><b> Work in a way that works for you </b><br><br> We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
