<p><strong>Permanent</strong></p>
<p><strong>Part-Time (3 days per week; Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)</strong></p>

<p><strong>Circa £15,000 per annum (pro-rata of £25,000 per annum)</strong></p>
<p>The Fashion Retail Academy (Ofsted Outstanding) is a unique, industry led academy. Founded by retail giants, we offer a range of exclusive Fashion courses with unparalleled industry involvement to ensure our students gain the skills and contacts needed to successfully progress to employment.</p>
<p>Supported by and working closely with over 130 fashion brands from high street staples to digital giants and luxury brands, we offer a wide range of specialist fashion Diploma, Degree and Short courses, many of these exclusive to the FRA with start dates throughout the year.</p>
<p>We are looking for a proactive, customer focused and detail orientated <strong>HR Assistant</strong> to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the HR team. The post holder will lead on providing the Best Imaginable onboarding and offboarding experience, whilst ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.</p>
<p><strong>Typical duties include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Liaising with new joiners on pre-employment checks, starter paperwork, mandatory training and induction arrangements;</li>
<li>Maintaining the Single Central Record and mandatory training tracker; </li>
<li>Conducting HR inductions, coordinating the probation process and administering post probation employee benefits;</li>
<li>Issuing leaver correspondence, such as acknowledgment of resignation letters, exit surveys and P45s, ensuring a smooth offboarding experience for both line managers and employees.</li>
<li>Providing cover for the Recruitment Assistant on the role’s non-working days.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>The ideal applicant will have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience of working in a fast-paced administrative post, preferably HR but not essential.;</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as the ability to quickly learn HR systems;</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, the ability to manage conflicting priorities, and an excellent eye for detail;</li>
<li>A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for delivering a highly efficient, effective and people-centered service.</li>
