NES Fircroft is currently supporting their O&G operator client, with a Training & Competence Co-ordinator position in Aberdeen.<br><br>This is a 12 month maternity cover contract, and you will be brought into the team to provide all required administrative assistance to support an effective and efficient L&D and Competence Assurance Function.<br><br>We are looking for someone who has experience in supporting & developing a competence management system within the UK oil and gas industry, and also has the ability to work to challenging targets and deadlines. This is a fast paced role, and we really need an individual who can deliver excellent results when working under pressure.  <br><br>Additional responsibilities:<br><br>• Coordinate all training and competence assurance administration e.g. training bookings, spend tracking, training feedback etc whilst ensuring processes and documentation always follow agreed BMS process<br> • Co-ordinate all training bookings required by onshore and offshore personnel ensuring all mandatory and safety critical training are maintained to support asset safety cases and organisational regulatory requirements<br> • Respond to employee/contractor training and competence queries<br> • Act as MyTRaC focal point providing ongoing support for all personnel <br> • Provide regular competence communication and standardisations support <br> • Ensure functional/asset training and competence assurance programme progress is maintained in accordance with agreed targets <br> • Ensure required training and competence progress data is recorded within the electronic database system MyTRaC and provide quality accurate records to key stakeholders as required <br> • Prepare training and competence assurance reports e.g. average training days, spend by department etc., as required<br> • Support the administration and maintenance of function training budgets <br> • Support line manager and team colleagues in the administration and co-ordination of allocated projects <br> • Coordinate all payment requirement pertaining to the L&D and Competence Assurance budget, e.g. raising PO's, checking invoices and liaising with accounts department, paying for courses using company credit card process etc.<br> • Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager<br> <br>Skills / experience required:<br><br>• Highly organised, numerate, with demonstrable problem-solving skills<br>• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to deal confidently and professionally with all stakeholders <br> • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate a positive and
