Graduate Architect

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Graduate Architect on a contract basis to be based out of our Melbourne office to work in our Life Sciences business on high profile projects in Australia, South East Asia and the Middle East. Wood Life Sciences office in Melbourne services a wide variety of technology intensive sectors including biotechnology & pharmaceuticals, laboratories & research facilities, healthcare, advanced education and advanced manufacturing. <br><br>This is the opportunity for an energetic and professional Graduate Architect to further develop her / his career within the Architectural team and strengthen her / his technical skills by being involved on various exciting and technically challenging projects to achieve outstanding design outcomes. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b> <br><ul><li> Participate in architectural projects in developing drawings, schedules and other design documentation as required and in accordance with Australian Standards, BCA and Quality Assurance standards </li><li> Maintain and apply a working knowledge of relevant architectural legislation, building codes and standards as they apply to projects </li><li> Work with other architects, designers and managers as required to support architectural project delivery </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Degree in Architecture </li><li> 2 yrs + experience in architectural design in Australia with good knowledge of BCA / NCC and Architectural documentation experience </li><li> High competency in Revit is a must </li><li> Experience in laboratory, healthcare and/or pharmaceutical design preferred but not essential </li><li> Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills </li><li> Strong commitment to customer satisfaction </li><li> Front-end presentation skills (Indesign / photoshop / SketchUp etc.) preferred but not essential </li><li> Personal Qualities: </li><li> Willingness to learn </li><li> Good team player </li><li> Able to work independently <br> </li></ul><br> Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role. <br><br>If you're a Graduate Architect ready for the next step in your career, then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
