Tax Manager - Transfer Pricing

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Tax Manager - Transfer Pricing. This role reports to the Tax Director - Transfer Pricing & Reporting.<br><br>The main responsibility of the role is to manage the group's transfer pricing compliance which includes the preparation and submission of local files, master files and other transfer pricing documentation, managing the group's country by country reporting obligations and supporting the Tax Director - Transfer Pricing & Reporting in all transfer pricing matters.<br><br>There is also opportunity for the role to develop to include supporting the Tax Director - Transfer Pricing & Reporting with the group's year-end and interim tax reporting obligations. <br><br><b> Responsibilities: Transfer Pricing </b><br><ul><li> Management of the preparation and submission process for the group's global transfer pricing compliance including review and submission of local files, master files, and other transfer pricing documentation </li><li> Review of groupwide tranfer pricing policies including review of central modules for inclusion in local files and working closely with advisors in preparing documentation supporting the group's transfer pricing policies </li><li> Management of the country by country reporting notification process </li><li> Preparation of county by country reports </li><li> BEPS Pillar Two reporting </li><li> Calculation of IP licence fee and maintenance of calculation model </li><li> Manage internal services agreements process </li><li> Implement process automation to drive efficiencies and manage risk </li><li> Assist the Tax Direct - Transfer Pricing & Reporting with other transfer pricing related matters including: <ul><li> queries from the business; </li><li> tax audits; </li><li> intercompany funding; and </li><li> intercompany transactions </li></ul></li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Technical attributes: </b><br><ul><li> ACA and/or CTA qualification or equivalent </li><li> Demonstrable ability to develop solutions when faced with challenges </li><li> Excellent verbal communication skills and self-confidence to explain tax concepts to internal and external contacts at all levels </li><li> Excellent report writing skills </li><li> Excellent project management skills </li><li> Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise </li><li> Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines under time pressure </li><li> Ability to use technology to drive efficiencies </li><li> Completer finisher </li><li> Previous transfer pricing experience </li><li> Experience of tax reporting is desireable but not essential </li></ul><br><br><b> Personal Attributes: </b><br><ul><li> Effectively connect and establish effective, cross-cultural working relationships with all levels of the organisation </li><li> High attention to detail </li><li> Highly motivated and organised </li><li> Excellent presentation skills </li></ul><br><br><b> Ability to: </b><br><ul><li> Work well under pressure and meet a demanding timetable with hard deadlines </li><li> Identify risks and know when to raise the flag </li><li> Work effectively across different cultures, driving a global mind-set </li><li> Work calmly whilst under pressure </li><li> Influence others by presenting consistent, clearly constructed and coherent arguments </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
