Aligned with our enterprise strategic framework, and our Enterprise Strategy, The Head of Talent Management will help: Develop world class, diverse, global, pipeline talent Ensure there are a number of high quality, diverse choices, for our critical positions Advance organizational agility Serve as a matrixed leader to pull through integrated talent work across Corporate Services and Business Unit Based Human Resources (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Assessment, Workforce Analytics, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Total Rewards) This role reports to the Head of Talent Management, Pharm and Enterprise R&D Key Responsibilities: Develop the vision, talent strategy and execution plans for building a robust pipeline of diverse, global, J&J leaders for our future. Identify the critical positions within the pipeline, and apply appropriate solutions to build and enhance the pipeline including: assessment, talent acquisition, onboarding, accelerated development, talent movement, diversity and inclusion and retention strategies for key talent and feeder pools. Assess and develop both a subjective and objective assessment on talent in the Enterprise and how to accelerate development. Manage critical talent pools; lead talent review discussions for Critical positions; manage the executive assessment and other assessment processes for critical talent, conduct internal/external talent mapping and pipelining in a strategic partnership with Talent Acquisition. Own descriptive analytics for enterprise talent, directing Workforce Analytics and Global Services to generate high quality data. Inform predictive analytics research, executed through Workforce Analytics bringing forth key insights to both the business and the HR team. Monitor trends, identify hot spots, and recommend solutions. Lead and/or participate in business specific talent related projects. Stay connected externally to current and future trends in innovative talent management approaches. Partner closely with Talent Development/Learning, D&I, Total Rewards, Workforce Analytics and Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless approach and strategy for hiring, development and retention. Partner closely with the Sector/Function Talent Directors to identify opportunities for cross sector/cross region experiences to further build the pipeline Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred in HR, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related area of focus; Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Organizational Leadership is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience is required. Talent Management experience is preferred. Experience using data and analytics to develop business strategies is required. Capability development and business partnering experience is preferred. Strategy development experience is preferred. Operational excellence experience is required. Ability to influence senior leaders is required. Ability to drive business results is required. Ability manage complexity and ambiguity is required. Collaboration and teaming is required. Strong attention to detail is required. Organizational savvy is required. Up to 15% domestic and international travel may be required as business demands.
