Electrical Engineer - Manufacturing

<p>The Virtual Bench is currenlty assisting our North Houston client with locating an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. The position will be a contract opportunity for the first 12 months and then convert to a permanent role. Please review the brief details below and submit your resume if qualified/interested.</p>

<p><strong>Job Description </strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Designs electrical wiring for all HVAC applications focusing on package light commercial</li>
<li>Create electrical assembly wirings.</li>
<li>Identify and create BOM and BOM structure.</li>
<li>Create electrical assembly wirings.</li>
<li>Building prototypes.</li>
<li>Support design engineers with their tests.</li>
<li>Leads Engineering in Electronic Control Problem Solving, Lessons Learned, Best Practices, and Standard Work.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Knowledge and skills</strong></p>

<ul>
<li><strong><em>Must have extensive prior experience</em></strong>:

<ul>
<li>Selecting components, like wire gauge, contactor, relays, circuit breakers to meet UL and NEC requirements</li>
<li>Design control box layout - CAD experience is not necessary, but you must have experience of working with CAD engineers to create clear markups</li>
<li>Creating wiring schematic - CAD experience is not necessary, but you must have experience of working with CAD engineers to create clear markups</li>
<li>Troubleshooting electrical circuits: Resolves Electronic/electrical Control problems quickly and effectively</li>
<li>Calculation of MCA/MOCP/SCCR based on UL table</li>
