Contributes to the team and works with direction from Senior Team Members or management; increasing the ability to work independently<br><br>As a Big Data Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Breaking down problems and estimates time for quality related tasks. Demonstrate increasing expertise in application domain and functional areas.</li><li>Applying various testing types and methodologies effectively during SDLC.</li><li>Taking ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.</li><li>Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques</li><li>Working independently and delivers testing and use case creation which meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project</li><li>Writing effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified and tests remain valid when code is refactored</li><li>Collaborating with development team in bugs fixing and build plans. Collaborate with Quality Leaders in creating test plans</li><li>Implementing and configures testing tools and at times help junior staff. Implement system-level integration testing</li><li>Defining quality metrics, best practices and coding patterns, and provides deep expertise on the coding</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years of professional relevant experience.</li><li>Be skilled in core data structures and algorithms</li><li>Have a solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure needed to run a large distributed web application.</li><li>Have 3+ years of testing experience in Software development lifecycle.</li><li>Have hands on experience on Java</li><li>Have hands on experience with Selenium.</li><li>Have hands on working experience in SFDC development, business process analysis, design & testing</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
