<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

<b>Technical </b></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Provision of advice and support to key stakeholders on P&amp;O policies, procedures and employment legislation, including; performance management, capability, discipline and grievance.</li>
<li>Act as a focal point for all stakeholders regarding any issues relating to conditions of employment, salary, benefits and employee relations.</li>
<li>Proactively case manage more complex live employee relations issues.</li>
<li>Provide guidance and assist with redeployment and restructuring/redundancy projects.</li>
<li>Prepare all relevant employee correspondence e.g. job letters, employment contract renewals, reclassification/reassignment documents, P&amp;O actions forms, termination letters etc.</li>
<li>Conduct payroll investigations, manage overpayments/underpayments in line with the requirements of applicable processes.</li>
<li>Conduct exit interviews.</li>
<li>Undertake offshore and site visits as required.</li>
<li>Support and assist all P&amp;O projects.</li>
<li>Undertake on-call and emergency response duties as and when required.</li>
<li>Supports proactive people development, discussing career paths and development needs with line managers, providing guidance on development and performance interventions, and recommending suitable candidates for promotion or training.</li>
<li>Investigates and resolves day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management.</li>
<li>Investigates and advises both management and employees on personnel matters, preparing documentation as required.</li>
<li>Liaise with Industrial Relations consultant on industrial relations matters and participate in the Trade Dispute Resolution process.</li>
<li>Ensure all company policies and procedures are reviewed annually and updated as required.</li>
<li>Perform all other related job functions as required.</li>
</ul>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b></p>

<ul>
<li>BSc degree in a relevant field, from a recognised university.</li>
<li>Certificate in Industrial Relations or Labour Laws.</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years&
39; experience in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in Industrial Relations.</li>
<li>Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks.</li>
<li>Experience of dealing with industrial and employee relations issues.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills.</li>
<li>Connect and establish effective working relationships.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Organized and detail oriented.</li>
<li>Agile and receptive to change.</li>
</ul>
