<b>Trade Compliance Specialist</b><br><br><b>Do you enjoy being part of a successful team?</b><br><br><b>Join our Legal Team in Algeria!</b><br><br>Our Legal team takes responsibility for supporting the execution of our company's global business and safeguarding its people, assets and interests.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As a trade compliance specialist, you will be working on complex Legal matters related to International imports and exports.<br><br>As a trade compliance specialist, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.</li><li>Collaborating with the wider ITC group helping them establish direction, policies and procedures to ensure trade compliance across all business functions.</li><li>Driving projects for continuous compliance improvement, identifying reduction programs, duty elimination and saving opportunities to increase efficiency</li><li>Monitoring, analysing and advising on impacts of regulatory changes in regions to guide the business on how Baker Hughes will comply.</li><li>Creating effective outreach, education, and training programs for business and functions to foster our commitment to legal integrity in all activities.</li><li>Conducting trade compliance due diligence and risk assessment of third parties such as customers, vendors and subcontractors.</li><li>Managing a range of global trade issues including country of origin, custom valuation, export licensing .</li><li>Coordinating with Logistics in the application of in-country export control licenses for licensable goods.</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Have a consultative and forward-thinking mindset, knowing how to influence stakeholders towards education, compliance, change and improvement</li><li>Be a team player who has a track record of working with cross functional and geographically dispersed teams</li><li>Have considerable experience in the legal, regulatory or trade compliance sector including customs, due diligence, international sanctions, import/export and global freight</li><li>Show exceptional analytical skills with astute attention to detail</li><li>Have 5+years of experience in Trade compliance in manufacturing industry or oil & gas .</li><li>Be experienced in or understand project management, ideally with PMP, PRINCE or Six Sigma certification</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
