<b><b>Overview</b></b><br />
<br />
We are seeking a highly qualified IP Docketing Specialist (Analyst) to join our Intellectual Property Law Department. (IPLD)<br />
<br />
IPLD are responsible for Company-wide legal support for all IP-related matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, IP-related agreements, as well as IP education and counseling.<br />
<br />
The Docketing Specialist&
39;s primary role is to maintain and manage the company&
39;s intellectual property docketing system, ensuring accurate records management, including tracking of domestic and international patent and trademark matters.<br />
<br />
<b><b>Key Responsibilities</b></b><br />
<br />
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:</p>

<ul>
<li>Manage the company&
39;s intellectual property docketing system for patents, trademarks and related matters.</li>
<li>Create, manage, and maintain foreign and domestic intellectual property matters.</li>
<li>Assist with portfolio data management, including matter creation, transfers and closures.</li>
<li>Monitor communications from outside counsel law firms and docket deadlines and tasks for in-house attorneys and paralegals.</li>
<li>Perform quality control audits of docket entries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.</li>
<li>Generate regular reports for attorneys and management regarding portfolio status, upcoming deadlines, workload metrics and compliance tracking.</li>
<li>Learn and understand the company&
39;s IP docketing processes, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the docketing process.</li>

<b><b>Minimum Requirements</b></b><br />

<li>A Bachelor&
39;s degree and/or paralegal certificate.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years professional and relevant patent docketing experience, gained in a major international law firm or major corporate legal department.</li>
<li>Experience with patent and trademark prosecution, and foreign patent and trademark databases and websites.</li>
<li>Strong writing skills in English, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize workload.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel.</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of IP docketing software (Unycom is a plus).</li>
<li>Proficiency in communicating in English, both written and spoken.</li>
</ul>
