<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS JSC) is currently looking for HES Coordinator to be based in Tengiz. <br><br>Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Coordinate and support site safety activities for the project/client/customer </li><li> Support with Safety Task Planning with project scope of work </li><li> Conduct Site, Equipment and PPE Inspections; take Pro-Active Measures to eliminate potential safety hazards. </li><li> Conduct safety meetings, orientations along with training to assure employees understand the hazards associated with scope of work </li><li> Ensure Emergency Response capabilities are solidified and maintained </li><li> Maintain HSE records and associated documentation </li><li> Responsible for safety administration, risk management and controlling issues that may impact project safety </li><li> Work closely with site TCO HES and ER and HES system, Lock Out Tag Out, Fire Protection, Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, Scaffolding, Cranes & Rigging, Hazard Communication, Excavations </li><li> Maintain communications with Safety Manager with project status/issues </li><li> Conduct Incident Investigations & Root Cause Analysis </li><li> Ensure safe work procedures are being followed in respect to OSHA and Client/Company Policy along with applicable regulatory and laws in Kazakhstan </li><li> Assist in day to day safety matters on the project which may include medical and security issues </li><li> Ensure all reporting is done in a timely response </li><li> Perform other duties and task as requested in regards to supporting the project </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Diploma in Engineering with relevant HSE experience </li><li> 5 years' experience in HSE sphere </li><li> Knowledge of oil and gas industry practices </li><li> Good knowledge of ROK legislation in respect to HSE </li><li> A strong commitment to high quality customer service and commitment to continuous improvement </li><li> Knowledge of TCO HES and IIF systems is preferred </li><li> Good analytical and reporting skills </li><li> Engineering Technology and/or relevant work experience in a Safety Management capacity </li><li> Candidates must have in depth knowledge of Kazakhstan Safety Regulations along with knowledge of Kazakhstan Guidelines </li><li> Candidates must be able to provide proof of HES training capabilities </li><li> Candidate must have strong knowledge of safety protocols for general industry and new construction projects </li><li> Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan security protocols is also required </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
