<h2><strong>Position Purpose &amp; Focus:</strong></h2>

<p>Pride is currently seeking Project Controls Manager to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a Project Controls Manager, you will be part of an integrated engineering/ construction team and be responsible for the overall delivery of Project Controls, including Estimating, Cost Management, Planning and Scheduling, Project Accounting, Trend, Risk, and Change Management, Progress Measurement and Evaluation, and Project Reporting.</p>

<h2><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></h2>

<ul>
<li>Develops, maintains and reports project cost and schedule information, including but not limited to: budgets, commitments, expenditure, forecast, variance, planned, actual, estimate to complete, invoice management and payment schedule variance, cost and schedule performance and other key performance indicators as needed.</li>
<li>Managing the Project Control resources allocated to the project by leading and directing staff so that they are motivated and have access to the required resources in order to meet the work objectives set for them.</li>
<li>Manage and mentor Project Controls team to ensure that staff has an understanding of what is expected of them and has the necessary skills to execute the requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare set-up plan, assign project controls staff, conduct project controls kick-off meeting and commence set-up.</li>
<li>Confirm progress measurement and earned value methodology and initiate progress reporting.</li>
<li>Verify project controls execution plan, trend gaps and distribute to Project Manager.</li>
<li>Establish cost and schedule baselines.</li>
<li>Initiate and confirm periodic reporting and meeting requirements including the content, format and frequency. Publish the project reporting calendar showing cut-off dates, submission due dates and issues dates.</li>

<h2><strong>Qualifications &amp; Success Factors:</strong></h2>

<ul>
<li>5 years relevant experience in managerial position and a minimum of 10 years&
39; experience in a project environment with detailed knowledge of Estimating, Cost Control, Planning/ scheduling, and risk/ change management</li>
<li>4 year degree in engineering, construction, or related field</li>
<li>Experience in high valued, multi-discipline EPCM environment projects from inception to close out.</li>
<li>Possesses strong personal computer skills (MS Office package).</li>
<li>Familiarity with SAP, Primavera P6 preferred</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and deliverables driven.</li>
<li>Broad business acumen including risk assessment and management.</li>
<li>Facilitation, negotiation skills and report writing skills.</li>
<li>Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.</li>
<li>Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to convey project technical information to project managers, clients and peers.</li>
<li>Must demonstrate organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, take direction, and provide direction to others ensuring the quality of deliverables.</li>
