It broadens your view from both quality perspective, material science/engineering perspective as well as supply chain management skills. Raw material supplier quality is a vast platform for you to develop your career, which covers metal, polymer and rubber, composite, hard-metal and diamond. As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), you'll be entrusted to drive quality for assigned suppliers in raw materials category with various methods including quality plan implementation, pFMEA, and root cause analysis. You will have plenty of opportunities to work with various companies via audit and qualifying raw materials through quality management system assessment and/or process qualification. You will be the master of monitoring raw material supplier performance by utilizing supplier scorecards, supplier quality notification records, drive supplier product /service improvement and process optimization. Our goal is to own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed.<br><br>As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Includes both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development.<br></li><li>Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence. SQEs have various levels of differentiation which are related to level of technical understanding of engineering drawings and ability to manage suppliers.<br></li><li>Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the raw materials category.<br></li><li>Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.<br></li><li>Contributes to project as a team member.
