Quantity Surveyor

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. <br><ul><li> Taking off quantities per drawing </li><li> To assist in the cost planning, cost control, contract management to the project requirements </li><li> Preparing tender document, bill of quantities, contract and other related cost document </li><li> Assist in project estimate, tender, variation order audit, settlement </li><li> Finish other works appointed by line manager </li></ul><br> Quantity survey / drawing re - measurement work; <br><ul><li> Review tender / contract specifications and drawings </li><li> Prepare / verify Bills of Quantities and scope of work </li><li> Procedure control, cost control of responsible contracts </li><li> Risk analysis and forecast for responsible contracts </li><li> Assess and handle claim, variation and extra works </li><li> Maintain proper filing of all quantity survey documentations </li><li> Assist in contract close - out and final account settlement </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> 3 - 5 years' experience for Civil, Mechanical work in Oil & Gas plant / Petrochemical plant </li><li> Experience of working for PMC or EPC project is preferable </li><li> Experience in quality surveying (QS) against MTO and BOQ </li><li> Experience in preparation of payment and re - measurement </li><li> Familiar with pricing mechanism and instruction to price schedule </li><li> Teamwork attitude and problem solving skills </li><li>Good command in English </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
