PenFed is hiring a Coordinator Learning & Talent Development at our McLean, Virginia location. The primary purpose of this job is to support the administrative functions of the Learning and Talent Development (LTD) team, specifically with the coordination of HR learning events, the learning management system (LMS), and provide logistical support for virtual and in-person learning events. This will include a broad set of responsibilities as noted below. Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Act as a point of contact for administrative and logistics duties related to LTD learning events, the LMS, and occasional other projects. Enter courses and sessions into the LMS. Assist participants with registration, update attendance. Provide logistical support for on-site and off-site learning events to include communications, scheduling, roster management, materials distribution, facilities set up, participant tracking, etc. Periodically provide technical support in virtual classroom. Update metrics for attendance, registration, session cost, etc. Coordinate on-site logistics such as classroom reservations, preparation, escorting vendor facilitators to the appropriate classrooms. Assist with New Employee Orientation materials and inventory. Implement administrative project plans, execute individual projects to completion, and participate in project groups. Assist with administration of shared LTD email inbox regarding learning events, tracking and participant registration within the LMS. Attend LTD meetings, take meeting notes, and maintain archives in Microsoft Teams. Work in accordance with LTD policies and procedures, adhere to confidentiality of employee information, and provide exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of PenFed. Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Learning & Development, or a related field is recommended, but not required. Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience required. One year of experience in Learning and Development is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Teams preferred. Learning Management System experience preferred. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. *Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds. * Travel Interstate Travel (10%) to various worksites may be required.
