This is a 12-month fixed term (mat leave) contract position, based at our manufacturing site in Rooty Hill. During your time with us, some of your key responsibilities and learning objectives will include: Providing expert human resources advice and support to the business and operations managers across a range of HR related needs Managing employee relations function with respect to workplace disputes, investigations and disciplinary matters. Lead and manage engagement programs to promote a positive employee experience What you will bring to the role: Personable and approachable nature Understanding of employment law and the Australian industrial relations framework Communicating effectively to build and maintain positive partnerships with managers and employees Previous experience working within FMCG sectors is highly desirable Strong planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills Good listening and negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply Awards and Legislation in the workplace, including but not limited to HR enquiries, disciplinary meetings and performance management Qualifications in Human Resources and previous relevant experience in a similar role What’s in it for you?
