This includes fostering and maintaining ongoing relationships with leaders to allow for the assessing of needs, strategizing, ideating, creating, pressure testing, executing, overseeing project work while supporting the deployment of programming and hands-on positioning of current and future state learning and development programs targeted to optimize performance for the USBL workforce. The Director of Supply Chain Projects is responsible for cultivating a cross-collaborative approach throughout the organization enabling this position to partner and directly impact the collaboration of center-led project development to deliver consistency and focus on optimizing Supply Chain leader & associate development. Lead the field deployment of L&D programing and deployment of initiatives. Support transitional activities aimed at sustainment of Operations Academies, and initiate feedback loop and make recommendations to larger GSC Learning & Development team as duties assigned. Duties and Responsibilities: Direct multiple concurrent projects guiding multifunctional USFS teams through the L&D process enabling upskilling and reskilling development: Serve as a subject matter expert on Supply Chain Transformation, facilitation skills, field relevance and readiness, training delivery, feedback, and content development to include eLearning, VILT and live classroom training. Manage deadlines and direct project teams to ensure timeliness. Offer diligent review and feedback to ensure L&D brand is aptly represented in all work product and that all materials are aligned with the overall business needs. Contribute to the overall learning strategy and impact measurement of L&D. Enhance efficiencies in how learning projects are developed through continuous improvement of our internal and cross functional processes. Plan, prepare and deliver scheduled learning programs and Supply Chain initiatives through creation, deployment, execution, facilitation, and follow through. Initiate feedback loop and make recommendations to larger Learning & Development team. Build, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners throughout the organization to communicate the L&D process and advocate for the voice of the field. Participate and/or lead meetings where needed to socialize updates and answer questions about L&D programs and initiatives. Contribute with other L&D Directors to design monthly meetings on L&D business announcements and team development. Manage direct report, and collaborate with other leaders to develop team members through coaching and feedback. Proxy as needed for Director of Supply Chain. Education Required: High School Diploma Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree Experience Required: 5+ years in a Sales, Supply Chain, Strategy, or Learning & Development, or leadership role Experience Preferred: 5+ years in a project, results-driven, or field engagement type role Technical Skills and Abilities: Strong project management, strategic thinking, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent technical skills Proactive thinking to align appropriate resources and stakeholders Capacity to multi-task and prioritize projects to meet desired deadlines Ability and desire to learn new technology platforms and job-related skills Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications.
