Senior Accountant Analyst

Come be part of something special - start your journey today! <br><br>As a Sr Accounting Analyst, you'll be responsible for assisting in the compilation, review, and analyses of all Accounting (including book close, accounting research, etc.) for functional line items, as assigned, across all SUEZ WTS Legal Entities (LEs). In additional, will provide support for assigned SWTS LEs for accounting, financial reporting, analysis and support, and other ad hoc requirements; Implement change management initiatives to establish and/or improve the Company's accounting performance and reporting capabilities an assist in partnering with other departments in providing accounting expertise to achieve financial integrity. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a sophisticated business that's doing big things to create a cleaner more sustainable world for us all!<br><br><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br>&bull; Assist in the accounting and reporting of assigned functional financial line items for all SWTS LEs including but not limited to the preparation, analyzes and review of income, balance sheet and cash flow statements, various other accounting, reports, and work papers. <br>&bull; Analyzes and make recommendations relative to accounting under IFRS and GAAP relative to the areas of responsibility. Assists in ensuring accuracy of financial statements and technical compliance to IFRS and local GAAP, Internal Controls and company policy by review, verification, and analysis. <br>&bull; Calculate in accordance with IFRS
15 the global warranty provision for ES projects & products Participates in close process towards complete accuracy. <br>&bull; Through analysis and collaboration with Business Units, understands business requirements and/or operational issues that may impact the financial statement and incorporates them as appropriate. <br>&bull; Analyzes and process journal entry requests with adequate support to comply with internal controls. &bull; Analyzes balance sheet accounts to ensure all items are clearly identified aged and have support to stand on their own. <br>&bull; Performs key account analysis and/or prepares account reconciliations. <br>&bull; Assists in conducting and completing special studies and helps to develop and recommend accounting and reporting methods and procedures.<br><br><b>Core Requirements:</b><br>&bull; Bachlor's Degree Accounting, CPA preferred<br>&bull; 4+ years of public/private experience required<br><br><b>Other Useful Skills & Abilities:</b><br>&bull; Big 4 public accounting experience a plus and corporate and/or multi-subsidiary experience preferred.<br>&bull; Some experience in shared service or multi-company environment is helpful <br>&bull; Good Excel skills (macros, lookups, pivots etc) and experience with SAP, SAP business objects and other ERP software is a plus<br>&bull; Team player: ability to work with others toward a shared goal, participating actively, sharing responsibility and rewards, and contributing to the capability of the team.<br>&bull; Excellent oral and written communication skills: Communicate clearly and professionally with finance and non-finance professionals within the organisation<br>&bull; Flexibility: adapt and respond to the changing environment and to constructively create opportunities for change through active participation<br><br>We offer competitive compensation and benefits working in a dynamic environment with challenging projects and training provided to ensure your success.<br><br>We realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
