Compliance Specialist (Digital & Marketing)

Overview & Responsibilities Republic Finance is seeking a business-minded and tech-savvy problem solver to join our Legal & Compliance department! Since launching our digital platform in 2019, we have been rapidly growing our online suite of products and significantly broadening our marketing reach. As a result, we are expanding our Legal & Compliance team and seeking qualified candidates to partner with our marketing and online lending teams to fuel the growth of our business. This position is responsible for collaborating with multiple internal departments to assist with the review and approval of digital marketing materials, implementation of digitally focused projects, process management and workflow, and related policy and procedure work. This position will report to the Digital & Marketing Attorney. Job responsibilities are as follows: Regularly attend project meetings (related to the company’s key digital transformation initiatives), collaborate with team members from various departments to assess and map current processes and systems, and test proposed processes and systems Assist the Digital & Marketing Attorney with the review and approval of digital marketing materials (e.g., paid search ads, social media ads/posts, email marketing campaigns, blog posts, video ads, radio ads, and website copy, etc.) to ensure compliance with state and federal advertising laws and regulations Grow to understand and identify the impact of a process change on other processes and/or procedures Ensure record keeping requirements are met, and organization of final marketing materials, edits, and approvals Prepare and present project-related results to project teams Provide regular updates regarding tracked timelines to project teams and identify, mitigate and escalate project risks, as necessary Facilitate team problem solving and build subject matter expertise through the project life cycle Assist with creating or revising company policies and procedures, as needed Work to meet timelines in a fast-paced team environment Coordinate small projects within a larger project scope, coordinate and shepherd special projects and perform other job-related duties, as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s Degree, Associate's Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education/related experience 2+ years related experience in banking, finance, internal auditing, or project management preferred Familiarity with advertising and/or lending laws and regulations preferred Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat DC Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to interpret and explain data for a variety of audiences Ability to handle shifting priorities and work well in fast-paced environment Ability to work well independently, as well as effectively within a team Ability to think critically, grasp technical concepts, spot potential compliance issues, and ask thoughtful questions Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including: Health/Dental/Vision Paid Time Off (PTO) 401 (K) and employer match Company provided Life Insurance & Long Term Disability Additional benefits with Republic Finance include: Employee of the Month Program Philanthropic support for charities such as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the American Cancer Society Professional offices with a friendly team environment Republic Finance, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age disability or veteran status in employment opportunities and benefits.
