We collaborate with teams to solve complex technical challenges and design future innovations.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As a Cloud Enterprise Architect, you will be the principal technologist working on the fast growing and ever maturing Baker Hughes Cloud team.<br><br>As a Cloud Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Working along the DevOps team to complete cloud architecture projects in an agile environment</li><li>Building cloud automation solutions that support the overall internal cloud offering across the enterprise</li><li>Being a source of knowledge for the enterprise cloud team as they work to mature the platform</li><li>Following security guidelines to develop secure and compliant cloud services by working with risk and security teams</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or at least 8 years of relevant work experience</li><li>Have AWS/Azure certifications or a significant resume of successful cloud architecture projects</li><li>Have experience building cloud automation solutions</li><li>Be able to read and write in standard languages used in cloud environments (example: Python, Ruby, Ansible, Powershell)</li></ul><br><br><b>Desired Characteristics</b><br><br><b> Technical Expertise: </b><br><ul><li>Experience using Amazon Web Services console, CLI, APIs. AWS Certifications are especially helpful</li><li>Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, VPC, Route53, ALB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SQS, Lambda, Service Catalog</li><li>Knowledge of IP Networking including VPC's, DNS, load-balancing, and firewalls</li><li>Experience with container technology</li><li>Experience working within an agile team (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming)</li></ul><br><br><b> Personal Attributes: </b><br><ul><li>Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff</li><li>Persists on completion of endeavors, especially in the face of overwhelming odds and setbacks.</li><li>Pushes self for individual results and others through team spirit</li><li>Strong analytical skills, creative and business focused problem-solving abilities</li><li>Curious.
