Group Financial Controller

<p>Our client is looking for a Group Financial Controller for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen</p>

<p><strong>ROLE</strong></p>

<p>The Group Financial Controller will support the group finance function by undertaking group consolidation, group accounts, budget consolidation & cash management.</p>

<p>The position must support in the overall delivery of company business objectives by aligning the deliverables of the role to that of the Group objectives.</p>

<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Monthly group accounts consolidation - report group performance accurately to stakeholders</li>
<li>Group cash - consolidate cash flow statements and provide guidance on spend</li>
<li>Support budget preparation with the businesses in the group</li>
<li>Maintain close working relationship with commercial and operational finance teams</li>
<li>Administer group banking arrangements</li>
<li>Prepare consolidated reports for bank to support group lending</li>
<li>Collate end of year returns and accounts</li>
<li>Work with finance leads to ensure finance policy is consistent throughout the group</li>
<li>Group audit contact</li>
<li>Support with training and development of group finance staff</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>

<p><strong>Mandatory</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Experience in a similar role with particular emphasis on providing accurate financial information to relevant stakeholders.</li>
<li>Must have good working knowledge of relevant accounting standards.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred </strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Relevant professional qualification.</li>
<li>Consolidation experience.</li>
</ul>
