Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.<br> <br> <b>Job Duties & Requirements</b> <ul><li> Under broad direction, responsible for coordinating and supervising activities supporting the Sustainability Reporting yearly requirements (Annual Sustainability Report (ASR), DJSI/CDP questionnaires). </li><li> Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding regulatory changes, accounting literature, trends, and measurement and technical issues relevant to any environmental sustainability requirements (GHG Scope 1-3, GRI, TCFD, and SASB). </li><li> Responsible for preparation, review, and accuracy of Sustainability Reporting activities within the department, including deadline adherence, reviewing, and updating business practices, performing internal control self-assessments, business analysis, and performing ongoing process improvements. </li><li> Work with subject matter experts (SME) in preparing methodologies for key performance indicators (KPI) for the Annual Sustainability Report. </li><li> Support Halliburton in driving the education, communication, and implementation of the Sustainability Reporting requirements across the company. </li><li> Responsible for interpreting and applying company policy, controls, and accounting principles as it relates to any transactions with Sustainability Reporting. </li><li> Demonstrates strong knowledge in aspects of general accounting, internal controls and risk mitigation, company policy, financial analysis and statutory reporting, forecasting, and financial applications of varying complexity, as well as advanced levels of proficiency with industry and company acumen. </li><li> Demonstrates advanced functionality of common office environment, functional applications such as SAP and Hyperion, and relevant business applications. </li><li> Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or other related field and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in accounting related roles. </li><li> Knowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles required. </li></ul><br> <br> Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles give (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
