About role<br />
<br />
The Legal Product Owner ensures delivery of IT products that meet business requirements and deliver value to the Legal Department and Schlumberger overall. He/she develops and maintains a vision for the IT products, communicating that vision to the Scrum (Development) Team, being responsible for the IT product features from concept to end-of-life. He/she furthermore coordinates with the Legal Subject Matter Experts (SME), Legal Department stakeholders and Scrum Team to ensure that business, quality, and functional goals are met with each IT product release. The Legal Product Owner ensures the design, usability, quality, and delivery of an IT product or feature, making sure stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle and acts as an authority on both the technical and business domain for product releases. The Legal Product Owner will play a key role in the Risk to Integrity (R2I) value stream&
39;s digital initiatives for the Legal Department.<br />
Responsibilities<br />
&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Coordinate with stakeholders within the Legal Department to build process maps for assigned projects and coordinates with the R2I Value Stream Governance team to get the process maps approved</li>
<li>Identify and propose improvements to Legal Department processes and practices for the assigned projects</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of technical user stories for implementation</li>
<li>Coordinate with IT and Legal teams to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles</li>
<li>Collaborate with Scrum Team and external Partners to ensure they understand the product vision and are designing valuable features for the Legal Department and Schlumberger overall</li>
<li>Develop detailed specifications for product features, making sure they are understood by the Scrum Team</li>
<li>Act as an ambassador for the product within the IT and Legal teams, as well as the primary functional / technical contact for queries related to the product</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases</li>

<p>Qualifications and Requirements<br />

<b>Essential qualifications</b><br />

<li>Bachelor&
39;s or Master&
39;s degree in Law or Business</li>
<li>5+ years of experience with legal project operations and management in a corporate legal department or at a law firm or other legal service provider</li>
<li>3+ years of experience in designing, developing, deploying legal technology and process solutions working with internal and external teams</li>
<li>Experience with legal analytics and data science use cases strongly preferred</li>
<li>Experience with legal workflows on platforms such as ONIT, ServiceNow, etc. strongly preferred</li>
