<p>University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is long-standing and leading provider of supported online education. <p>This is a brand new opportunity within UCEM to lead the institution’s financial planning/forecasting processes across the institution! We are looking for a reliable professional, with experience using Anaplan, who is confident in making appropriate decisions in the best interests of the <a name="_Hlk30068785" rel="no-follow">institution</a>, with the overall aim to guide the institution towards profitability and long-term success!</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Using your excellent knowledge of all accounting, financial and business principles you will work closely with the Executive Finance Director, Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team, providing analysis and information to inform major operational, financial, and strategic decisions. Your main focus will be to transform the overarching company strategy, into a long-range plan with annual operating and capital budgets.</p>

<p>Your key responsibilities will centre around:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the implementation of the new planning system (Anaplan) Assist in all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and analytics, including annual planning, P&L forecast, cash flow forecasts, and central department budgets Drive the financial planning of the institution by analysing its performance and risks Offer professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance (increasing income and reducing costs) Assist in the development and standardisation of project costing templates and review progress against plans Preparing and presenting insightful analysis to key stakeholders Develop key performance indicators to enable the performance of the organisation to be measured effectively</li>

<p>Experience Implementing or maintaining Anaplan is essential for this role. The successful candidate should hold a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA), further or higher education qualifications are desirable but not essential.</p>
