Within PwC Operate, Finance Solutions is a team of accounting professionals at all levels providing operational delivery expertise who deliver bespoke and standard finance solutions to clients on an insourced, co-sourced or outsourced basis. </p><p><br /><b>About the role</b></p><p></p><p>Finance Solutions is one of the PwC Operate teams, currently experiencing growth. Finance Solutions consists of a team of accounting professionals at all levels providing operational delivery expertise for large execution programmes, such as finance transformation programmes, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable management, budgeting and forecasting, P&amp;L review and KPI Development.</p><p>As we’re responsive to client demands, your role will be varied and challenging, providing you with an opportunity to work with a wide variety of high profile clients. </p><p></p><p><b>Key responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><p>As we’re responsive to client demands, your role will be varied and challenging, providing you with an opportunity to work with a wide variety of high profile clients. Therefore, the role could include:</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Operational finance including: accounts payable/receivable management, bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting</p></li><li><p>Management accounting – actuals, budgets and rolling forecasts</p></li><li><p>Financial controlling including preparation, reconciliation and presentation of  balance sheet reviews</p></li><li><p>Assisting with period/ year end close processes</p></li><li><p>Financial accounting – preparing financial statements under applicable Reporting Standards</p></li><li><p>Collaborating with the client delivery teams in tasks and activities that span across operational finance and financial reporting</p></li><li><p>Managing and coaching trainee accountants/ finance assistants in their roles in delivery</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who we are looking for</b></p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications </b></p><p></p><p>Part qualified individuals who are progressing towards completion of ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or other relevant qualification.</p><p></p><p><b>Experience</b></p><p>We are looking for individuals who have good experience in some some of the following areas:</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Operational finance experience including knowledge of finance processes e.g. OTC, PTP, OTC etc</p></li><li><p>Financial management experience including forecasting/ budgeting</p></li><li><p>Management accounting and reporting</p></li><li><p>Financial reporting / statutory reporting</p></li><li><p>Financial and scenario modelling</p></li><li><p>Experience of working as an accountant in practice</p></li><li><p>Reporting to clients and/ or senior stakeholders</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Attributes</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Good analytical skills, commercial aptitude and professionally sceptical mindset (ability to identify issues, understand complex problems, draw sound conclusions)</p></li><li><p>Good written and oral communication skills</p></li><li><p>Agility and ability to build relationships and rapport within a diverse team, collaborating, coaching and supporting others</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under pressure and to tight deadlines</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and other finance tools</p></li><li><p>Enthusiasm for new tasks, challenges and projects</p></li><li><p>Passion for learning and self development</p></li><li><p>Experience of a range of ERP systems/ accounting packages is desirable</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Location</b></p><p></p><p>The role will be based in London and will require some travel from time to time to help support our client base.</p><p></p><br /><p><strong>Not the role for you?</strong><br />Did you know PwC offer <a href="http://pwctrk.co.uk/tp/rj6_YRe1p-J.K" rel="no-follow">flexible contract</a> arrangements as well as <a href="http://pwctrk.co.uk/tp/rj6_uo6An.J.K" rel="no-follow">contingent work</a> (ie temporary or day rate contracting)?<br /><br /><strong>The skills we look for in future employees</strong><br />All our people need to demonstrate the skills and behaviours that support us in delivering our business strategy.
