<p>HSES Advisor</p><p> </p><p>We have a current opportunity for an HSES Advisor on a permanent basis. The position will be based in London.</p><p>Please note, that applicants should possess the right to work in the UK independently. </p><p> </p><p>Purpose of Role:</p><ul><li>The role is responsible for leading HSES incident reporting and HSES data analytics and for providing competent and proactive HSES and technical support to the HSES Team based in London.</li><li>The role reports to the VP of HSES International on a day-to-day basis and for personal appraisal &amp; performance management matters, but is expected to be responsive to all team members, at all times.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competency Level:</p><ul><li>Management of Harbour Energy International HSES incident reporting software (Synergi) including: <ul><li>Leadership and ongoing management of the Synergi Process Group;</li><li>Being a trained and competent superuser and delivery of training to others;</li><li>Reporting of action closeout from Incidents, Audits and Management Visits;</li><li>Leading (for International) the integration of legacy company Synergi systems into a single Harbour HSES reporting tool.</li></ul></li><li>Data management, analytics and presentation of all HSES data streams for Harbour Energy International (company and key contractors) using approved tools (e.g. Power BI) across a range of HSES KPIs and datasets to include (but not limited to) greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental data streams, incidents and near misses, hazard reporting, emergency response drills and exercises, HSES audits and associated findings and actions.</li><li>Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Standards and procedures</li></ul><p> </p><p>Critical Skills, Qualifications &amp; Experience:</p><ul><li>Engineering, science or HSE related degree</li><li>Membership in accredited professional body e.g., IOSH, IEEMA, SPE</li><li>Offshore medical and BOSIET/HUET and MIST for travel offshore</li><li>Set upon a career as a technical or HSE professional with some demonstrable role(s) in technical or HSES Management in an Oil and Gas E&amp;P or similar industrial organisation.</li><li>Experience in Management System maintenance to international standards;</li><li>Experience of working in the E&amp;P sector is desirable (e.g., for operators, main contractors across drilling or production ops;</li><li>Highly computer literate and numerate - ability to pick up and use new software with limited training;</li><li>Formal document control and authoring skills are also very useful</li><li>Knowledge (e.g., systems, software, procedures, regulations):</li><li>Possess a good knowledge of international management system standards (e.g., ISO14001 and ISO45001).</li><li>Synergi Incident Reporting or equivalent tool.</li><li>Advanced in use of Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Word, and SharePoint.</li></ul><p>If you feel you have the skills and experience to perform well in this role we want to hear from you.
