We are currently seeking applications from talented HR Advisors for as position based primarily out of Kewdale, working full time from Monday to Friday. This varied role will work as part of a lively, dedicated team to support our a diverse group of Business Lines operating in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. With a focus on onboarding and employee engagement, as well as a variety of HR advisory and project activities, this role will suit candidates who like to operate in a fast moving, supportive team environment.<br> <br> The HR Advisor is responsible for providing front line support to employees and managers on topics including, but not limited to, hiring, onboarding, relocation, benefits, career development, performance appraisals, compensation and promotions, offboarding and workplace grievances. They are the first line of contact for management and employee queries and are expected to have a good grasp of the business and related HR issues to identify and implement appropriate and proactive measures to regularly improve HR performance and employee motivation. They assist the HR Business Partner in the design, development and implementation of various policies, programs and procedures and is responsible for administering these as directed.<br> <br> <b> Main Roles and Responsibilities: </b><br> <ul> <li> Working closely with the HR Business Partner, contribute to and implement the HR policy and plans in-line with the business and corporate strategy.</li> <li> Dedicates face time to ensure employee support through interaction and feedback. </li> <li> Advises and assists business/line managers on interpretation and administration of HR policies and programs. </li> <li> Acts as first point of contact for employees regarding employee relations issues and/or concerns about motivation and job satisfaction, HR policies, benefits and compensation. </li> <li> Work closely with Talent Acquisition team to ensure the timely placement of suitable candidates.</li> <li> Responsible for the new hire onboarding process, including the review of shortlist applicants for blue and white collar positions where required, and proposing the appropriate compensation for successful applicants.</li> <li> Supports line management and the HR Business Partner on a variety of HR tools and processes, including offboarding, industrial relations activities, Enterprise Agreements, worker's compensation and return to work plans, performance plans, and workplace investigations and grievances.</li> <li> Co-ordinate, execute and maintain administrative HR activities and systems</li> <li> Ensures updates related to pay and payroll are accurately captured and act as the main liaison for payroll team.</li> <li> Consultation with Sales and Commercial team regarding HR and IR components of tender submissions.</li> <li> Identifies and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. </li> <li> Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy & Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation. </li> <li> Complies with all applicable Schlumberger standards and policies. </li> <li> Employees may be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the location or Company.</li> </ul> <br> <b> Qualifications & Experience: </b><br> <ul> <li> Tertiary qualifications in a Human Resources related Degree with a minimum 5 years' of relevant HR experience</li> <li> Understanding of the Fair Work Act and other related legislation.</li> <li> Industrial Relations experience is highly regarded.</li> <li> Oil & Gas Industry experience will be highly regarded, but not essential.</li> <li> Advanced computer skills in HR systems (SAP HR and Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Office 365 suite.</li> <li> Strong communication skills, verbal and written.</li> <li> Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.</li> <li> Have working rights in Australia and willing to work primarily in Kewdale.
