Training Specialist

Overview & Responsibilities Republic Finance is seeking a Training Specialist to join our growing team! The Training Specialist will collaborate with other Talent Development team members and business partners to identify training needs, build and implement effective training solutions, and ensure regulatory compliance. Main responsibilities will include developing content and curriculums, hosting classroom onboard training, and facilitating on-the-job coaching to support performance improvement. Candidates must exhibit a strong customer service approach with detail orientation, a positive demeanor, flexibility, passion and professionalism. Job responsibilities are as follow: Collaborate with team leaders to arrange onboard schedules and training classes. Expect to be in the classroom or training on the floor more than 50% of the time. Conduct classroom training for onboarding new team members and supplemental training requirements. Remote training could be required at times. Develop modules and materials (print, e-learning) to support required curriculum. Module topics might include, but are not limited to, sales, customer service, financial/consumer lending processes, and regulatory guidelines. Ensures the accuracy of all training materials through scheduled reviews and updates. Stay current & updated about all relevant regulations and procedures. Conduct role-play and other kinesthetic activities to develop interpersonal skills. Facilitate on-the-job coaching and training as needed. Identify individual and team skills gaps and develop training solutions. Coordinate with LMS Administrator to ensure assignment of online materials, tracking of training completion, and survey distribution & results reporting. Become proficient in general onboard training to act as training support for additional team onboarding. Stay current on relevant platforms and processes, including the pending implementation of Salesforce. Cascade any process related communication like changes, updates etc. to the whole team and ensure adherence. Share best practice and learning points across other trainers. Implement trend analysis on quality, identify of areas of improvement, provide inputs to the management/operation team on improving Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Education, or relevant field Preferred experience as a Corporate Trainer or similar role in sales or customer service positions At least two years of related experience in talent development, adult learning, and/or financial services field preferred Additional certification in training is a plus Familiarity with interactive learning activities Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment Ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and natural problem solver Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain working relationships. Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop integrated, creative, technical solutions. A strong desire to achieve outstanding customer service and meet and administer partner requirements. Lead all aspects in team leadership, people and resource management. Ability to lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and reward/recognition practices.
