HR Reporting Analyst

Job Overview The HR Reporting Analyst a critical member of the HR Reporting Services team that provides expertise in understanding HR data and processes to report and share workforce data according to business needs. This role supports business needs by ensuring the right data, metrics and reporting are leveraged to drive better business decisions and supports efforts to standardize and optimize reports and metrics globally.  A successful HR Reporting Analyst leverages a deep understanding of Workday and ServiceNow data, as well as other HR system data and strong business understanding to deliver value-added reporting solutions. This requires a proven ability to extract, manipulate, synthesize and translate complex information from a variety of sources in an easy, effective format that is audience appropriate. Leverages expertise to consult on data needed for analytics by closely collaborating with HR Teams, Analytic Consultants and Data Scientists. RESPONSIBILITIES Test, document, and deploy new and enhanced reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and dashboards in Workday. Leverage calculated fields and Workday’s business objects to recommend the most appropriate solutions. Provide input on reporting impacts for projects, system enhancements, and other business initiatives. Partner with stakeholders to understand report requirements and ensure results meet the business needs. Deeply understand the data and how business processes influence data to ensure the right data is leveraged in deliverables. Understand data and setups in ServiceNow to serve as a primary backup for reporting and dashboards Support HR Reporting governance processes and ensure governance standards are followed.  Drive standard interpretation, output and use of workforce data; communicate data nuances that impact interpretation.  Function as the HR workforce data expert with the ability to consult and guide customers on HR data.  Discern opportunities to get in front of needs and provide proactive and scalable reporting solutions.  Conduct data integrity audits in collaboration with partners and make recommendations on clean-up, process improvement and metrics to assist in increased accuracy. Desired Profile Education Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors Preferred Major Area of Study: Human Resources/ Statistics / BE / IT Experience Minimum years of related experience required: 3 Years Preferred years of related experience: 4-5 Years Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed: Service-oriented and customer-focused approach to completing work.  Ability to partner with various customer segments and HR business support groups.   Tech savvy and ability to leverage reporting tools such as Workday, ServiceNow, Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros), and Tableau.  Must have high attention to detail, and ability to check own work to ensure report accuracy and minimize errors.  Ability to think proactively and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.  Strong business acumen and deep working knowledge of HCM concepts, best practices and procedures.  Must have excellent sound judgment and discretion regarding the handling of confidential information.   Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to influence various stakeholders.  Strong communication skills written and oral.  Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations and collaborate effectively.  Proven analytical/critical thinking skills to interpret data and tell the story.  Highly self-motivated, self-starter who can navigate ambiguity.  Competencies/Behaviors required for job: A.
