P&ID IEC Field Walkdown & CAD Drafter

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br><ul><li> Meet or exceed the company and customer safety standards </li><li> Comply with all company and customer procedures, engineering practices and other standards </li><li> Read and fully understand P&ID's and other documents which describe the scope of work </li><li> With minimal supervision prepares simple to complex engineering P&ID drawings </li><li> With minimal direction performs P&ID updates from basic red-line (as-built) data supplied </li><li> Demonstrates proficient skills in CAD utilizing client's current version of AutoCad and Document Management System </li><li> Demonstrates knowledge of ISA and Piping symbology </li><li> This role will require to field as-built P&IDs per client requirements </li><li> Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of P&ID's, One-Lines, Instrument Loop Diagrams and Schematics </li><li> Proficiently identify field; mechanical equipment, electrical, instrumentation and piping components </li><li> Ability to create, modify and maintain P&ID drawings using proper drafting standards and follows Management of Change (MOC) information (MOC redline/comments) </li><li> Ability to field as-built P&IDs relative to design of project scope and/or common field changes for Project Closure and PHA purposes </li><li> Maintain cooperative, efficient, and good team working environment </li><li> Communicate, both verbally and in written form in a professional manner </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> 5-10 years industrial experience working in; P&ID Drafting & Walkdown in chemical and refining manufacturing industry </li><li> Experience in instrumentation and electrical systems as currently used in chemical and refining manufacturing facilities including; electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, plan drawings, conduit and cable tray layouts, pressure, temperature, flow, density, and other instrumentation, instrument loops, PLC DCS and interlocks </li><li> Field experience, able to wear required PPE and drive safely to job-site for verification and as-built of drawings </li><li> Proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD 2017 / 2019 </li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft products such as; Word, Excel and Outlook </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
