Come be part of something special - start your journey today! <br><br><b>What will you be doing?</b> <br><br>The position is part of an interactive and supportive team having responsibility to provide regulatory guidance and compliance for all SUEZ WTS products. Specifically, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable U.S. and international codes and standards. The role reports directly to the Global Regulatory Leader and you will collaborate with technology, product managers, EHS and engineering colleagues across all regions to share regulatory insights and recommend actions in advance of competitive and regulatory pressures. This role requires experience facilitating safety and regulatory reviews which contribute meaningful insights to the identification of compliant solutions for our business and customers we serve. <br><br><ul><li>Ensures new and existing products are compliant with applicable product standards and scope</li><li>Act as primary technical expert for product compliance team, collaborate with internal and external partners, manufacturing sites, as well as third party labs, to evaluate products and critical components, facilitate testing protocols, and review third party reports.</li><li>Manage NOBO and NRTL activities for regulatory compliance by working with these testing labs to develop pricing, obtain Master Service Level Agreements, ensure scheduling and project completion.</li><li>Assist Engineers to ensure process and work instructions exist to capture inputs and changes for SAP Bill of Materials and process sheets impacting code and standards</li><li>Assist with manufacturing changes, new part setup or simple change orders (COs) in SAP</li><li>Assesses regulatory changes and their impact to the business based on an advanced understanding of regulatory guidelines and applicable laws.</li><li>Develop, implement and manage appropriate procedures and systems to track and manage product-associated events</li></ul><br><b>Who are we looking for?</b><br><br>The Regulatory Specialist has a strong product compliance background and is skilled at communicating the nuanced compliance requirements supporting our equipment products, projects and services with ability to work across functional teams. They are cooperative and offer compliant and technical sound solutions. They can handle multiple shifting demands with professionalism. Work with minimal supervision and instruction form more senior staff.<br><br><b>Core Qualifications: </b><br><ul><li>Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or 4+ years engineering experience), Environmental, or other Technical Science</li><li>Minimum of 3 years industrial experience with product stewardship / regulatory compliance, product safety, product compliance, EHS</li></ul><br><b>Useful skills and abilities:</b><br><br><ul><li>Ability to present technical information in simple terms to a variety of understanding levels</li><li>Experience in the application of standards, relevant testing protocols, and in applying professional judgement on compliance and the significance of non-compliance.</li><li>Working knowledge of domestic and international regulatory and compliance schemes: UL, CSA, FCC, CB Scheme, CE Directives (LVD, EMC, Energy Efficiency), and others</li><li>Working knowledge of international regulatory requirements and ISO-based quality systems</li><li>SAP experience</li><li>Strong project management skills and ability to proactively push projects forward to meet deadlines</li></ul><ul><li>Clear, concise communication and presentation skills</li><li>Team player, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances </li></ul><br>We're an organization that champions diversity and inclusion at every level and are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace!<br><br>To protect our customers, our employees, and their families, we strongly encourage, and in some cases require, successful new hires to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to starting employment unless an exemption is granted as required by law.
