<p>Our client a well-recognised professional membership body is currently recruiting for a Regional Membership Manager vacancy to be home based looking after 100 members across the West and South West centred around Plymouth, Exeter, Taunton, Gloucester, Bath, Bristol areas.</p>

<p><b>The Role</b></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Represent the organisation and provide support and guidance to Member businesses within the West & South West regions in order to achieve the regional subscription and engagement targets. Encourage suitable organisations to join as either Members or Associates. </p>
<p> </p>
<p><b>Main Duties/Responsibilities: </b></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Ensure that contact is made with all Member businesses within the West & South West regions at least once per year, preferably by visiting the organisation or using video or phone call to ensure they recognise the value of their organisation membership and are gaining maximum value from it.</p>
<p>Work closely with the Regional Coordinator team to ensure that West & South West events and meetings are planned, organised and delivered efficiently and effectively.</p>
<p>Proactively handle Member enquiries and prospective Member leads to ensure excellent service levels are maintained. This is to ensure appropriate help and support is provided across organisation’s entire range of Member products and services.</p>
<p>Act as Secretary to the West & South West Regional Executive Committees (REC); attend their meetings (approx 3-4 per year); and provide guidance to the REC officers ensuring that organisation’s  policies and objectives are outlined, supported and clarified appropriately both before and during the meetings.</p>
<p>Provide support to the West & South West regional Branch officers and attend as many meetings as reasonably possible.</p>
<p>Represent organisation at events and exhibitions to meet current Members and to promote the association to prospective Members and Associates.</p>
<p>Work with your RECs and Branches to identify key individuals within suitable prospective Members and work effectively with the  Business Development team & Regional Coordinators responsible for recruiting Members.</p>
<p>Ensure all prospects are entered on SalesForce</p>
<p>Work closely and liaise regularly with other colleagues, in particular the Business Development team and Member Services teams to build effective working relationships to ensure the efficient delivery of on-boarding for all new Members. </p>
<p>Recruit new Associates i.e. organisations such as universities, housing associations, local authorities, hospitals and large commercial constructors.)   </p>
<p>Work with the PR team and other Regional Managers to co-ordinate and build relations with Consultant and Specifier Associates as well as with media and business networking groups to encourage specification of Members and to promote industry role and purpose.</p>
<p>Build relationships with local colleges and training providers to promote and contribute to work in the development of qualifications, skills and competence across our sector.</p>

<p><b>Education/Qualifications/Experience required:</b></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Educated to a minimum of A Level or equivalent.</p>
<p>Exposure to trade associations or member driven organisations is desirable, but not essential.</p>
<p>Knowledge of the building engineering or construction industry would be a distinct advantage.</p>
