Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently searching for a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager (QA/QC) for its environmental equipment and industrial power division (Amec Foster Wheeler) in our office in Roswell, GA. <br><br>The QA / QC Manager will be responsible for the integration of all project and departmental quality system synergies, from in house quality functions to the controlling and maintenance of the organization's Qualified Suppliers. QA/QC Manager provides leadership and direction to ensure all quality requirements, directives, objectives, procedures, and functions are clearly delineated to the quality group staff and project team personnel in implementation of the Quality Management System. <br><br><b> Key Responsibilities: </b> <br><ul><li> Provide leadership in implementing the Quality Policy, Safety Policy, and Quality Objectives as required by the Quality Management System </li><li> Develop and implement project quality plans and procedures </li><li> Utilize in depth knowledge of ASME, NBIC, AWS Codes and other applicable codes and standards as it applies to the manufacture of our offered products </li><li> Resolve both supplier and client quality issues </li><li> Initiate training for quality staff, including third party inspectors </li><li> Develop quality matrices for preparation of ASME Master Data Reports </li><li> Participate in project quality budget planning and monitoring process </li><li> Execute vendor inspections, audits and project interface as required by contracts, which may require travel both domestically and abroad </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> In depth knowledge of ASME, Section 1, Div. 1, NBIC & AWS codes </li><li> Experience in power generation and /or oil & gas and / or chemical industries </li><li> International experience (either living abroad or dealing with customers/vendors outside the U.S) </li><li> BS Undergraduate Degree </li><li> 7-15 Years in Quality systems, programs, audits and procedures. At least 7 years in the fabrication and / or construction industries. </li><li> Knowledge of PC, CFB, CO, OT, HRSG boilers and ancillary equipment will be favorable. </li><li> Additional languages (specifically Spanish) will be favorable. </li><li> Willingness and ability to travel domestically and abroad (approximately 50%) </li><li> Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required <br></li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
