Senior Architect

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently seeking an <b>Senior</b> <b>Industrial Architect</b> to join our team in Greenville, SC. <br><br>Remote work option is available with this position. <br><br>Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Performs various tasks in each of the three project phases: Design Development; Construction Documents; Construction Administration </li><li> Daily activities include problem-solving on both large projects and small consultations for project managers and other disciplines </li><li> Provides a wide range of ground-level architectural services while maintaining a sense of urgency and prioritization of tasks </li><li> Participates and coordinates the preparation and quality of contract documents, including drawings and specifications </li><li> Responsible to review and rectify the design related to all applicable Codes and produce documents including Life-Safety, Egress, and General Code Compliance drawings and narratives. </li><li> Coordinates multiple-discipline overlays, construction techniques, and sequences </li><li> Performs site observations such as recording and reporting of existing conditions and construction progress </li><li> Effectively addresses problems and questions as they occur during construction </li><li> Writes reports such as feasibility studies, design criteria, and recommendations </li><li> Responsible for coordination of all aspects of other disciplines as they affect the building envelope and interior </li><li> The candidate will follow projects through approvals and construction </li></ul><br>
