<b>Primary Purpose of Job</b><br />
To provide advice, opinion and services in handling from a legal view point all types of agreements with respect to joint ventures, joint ventures partners, outside suppliers, customers, agents and contractors and also, lead Counsels by providing knowledge and expertise in undertaking general or specific legal matters as specified in LCP Division Internal Policy or assigned by the Associate General Counsel, in accordance with QatarEnergy&
39;s Policies and applicable laws and regulations to the best interest of QatarEnergy.<br />
<br />
<b>Education</b><br />
JD/LLB (or equivalent) degree at a recognized university.<br />
<br />
<b>Experience & Skills</b><br />
- At least ten years of legal experience (not necessarily post-qualification) in private practice or in-house, a substantial amount of which is in relation to Project Activities. - Experience of dealing with regulators and government representatives. - Ability to assimilate complex legal matters and to provide practical advice to non-lawyers. - Effective communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player with members of the Legal Department, as well as other stakeholders. - Highly motivated, proactive, organized, and self-disciplined.<br />
