Training Manager The Manager, PQS Training will establish and maintain effective Training processes to assure that personnel are equipped with the knowledge, understanding and training to optimally conduct their responsibilities. This position collaborates with business management to ensure that training is in compliance with J&J corporate standards and can sit at a JnJ site in NJ or PA! A key focus of the role is to drive innovation, in partnership with other groups within Janssen, and find opportunities for optimization, remediation, innovation, and/or standardization across Janssen. The role also ensures that process-related messaging to the training audience is effective, relevant, and deployed in a timely manner. Successful candidate will also assist Director to drive learning management optimization and other strategic projects. Key Job Responsibilities Lead and prioritize customer requests, and internal business needs to improve processes and provide customer value. Ensure compliance of all processes and procedures, associated documentation, and validation execution as well as guarantee that all areas are ready for Food & Drug Administration (FDA) inspections and other audits in addition to local regulations and international standards and guidelines. Enhance LMS transactional processes to drive process efficiency. Develop strong working relationships with peers in the Learning and development community across Janssen to maintain consistency and harmonization of approach, process standardization and using solutions through evolutionary stages of the Training Program. Assist in internal audits to meet compliance requirements with quality management standards as well as regulatory and internal customers’ requirements and develops corrective actions and recommendations. Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals, including but not limited to: Data Integrity (DI), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), Train-the-Trainer (TTT), Training Within Industries (TWI) and others. Identify and evaluate trends in learning media and technology-based solutions to improve efficiency and innovation of training programs. Leads projects of moderate to high complexity, ensuring that project plans are defined and performed to achieve the business and technical objectives. Qualifications Qualifications: A minimum of University/Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or equivalent years of experience. Minimum 8 years working in a GMP environment (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Diagnostics, or Consumer Product) or digital learning company. Technology savvy with experience in the implementation of digital learning platform and Artificial Intelligent (AI) and Machine learning implementation e.g. LMS, LxP, mobile app, VR/AR/MR and other digital solutions. Able to perform process deviation investigation: identification, investigation, root cause analysis, correction, implementation of corrective and preventive actions and verification of efficiency. Build and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Work instructions and job aids as required to support training operations. Experience with handling audit and inspection is preferred. Experience with handling or leading global and/or virtual cross-functional teams when one must influence without authority. Mentoring and training delivery skill. Analytical and problem-solving skill. Strong leadership and project management skill. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visual, and PowerPoint). Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Collaborative approach and ability to connect and navigate in different levels. Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity. Other Requirements Location of Role: New Jersey and Philadelphia. Language Requirement: Proficiency in other languages is strongly preferred. Travel Requirements: <10%.
